Species by the Thousands: Ceramic Candle

Each cup is thrown by hand in the Catskills by artist Erica Bradbury — oatmeal-speckled stoneware with a glossy white interior liner, filled with a soy wax blend scented with phthalate-free fragrance and essential oils. Cotton wick, no parabens, sulfates, or mineral oil. Because each piece is studio pottery, glaze characteristics vary.

Two scents. Palo Santo, Sweetgrass + Sage reads as outdoor air brought inside — clean, resinous, and dry. Campfire opens with pinyon and lavender and settles into cedarwood, warm and slightly smoky without being heavy. Both are gently scented, something you move through rather than linger in.

When the candle burns down, the vessel doesn't. Clean it out with warm water and soap — it holds an espresso, a succulent, or a paperwhite bulb, or whatever lands on the nightstand. Food safe, dishwasher- and microwave-safe. Hand-poured by artist Erica Bradbury for Species by the Thousands, Catskills, New York. Arrives boxed.

Approx. 3" H × 3" Dia · Soy wax · Cotton wick · Phthalate-free fragrance and essential oils · Lead-free · Hand-thrown stoneware · Made in the U.S.
